The challenge
Founded in 2020, Tre Tommer works roughly 50/50 across the private and public renovation market. That means a lot of site surveys and a lot of estimating every year. Stian Stenseth chairs the board of the Norwegian Master Builders' Association in Østfold, and when he was invited to a Wenn Property presentation, he was lukewarm at first — he wanted to see things work in practice before believing in them.
The solution with Wenn Property
The scepticism didn’t last long. “Five minutes into the presentation I was sold,” says Stian. “I got to see how well it actually worked in practice.”
Today, the outdoor module is what Tre Tommer uses most. Instead of standing at the roof ladder trying to measure, they look up the address in the web interface and get roof surfaces and precise measurements straight on the PC — no site visit required. Out on surveys, they take photos with their phones, so the documentation is complete when they’re back at the office. “We always used to be missing photos when we got back. Since Wenn, we have every photo we need. And the recording feature that turns speech into written notes — it’s pure genius.”
Indoors, they scan the rooms with their phones. There, Stian sees great value in exporting the model as an IFC file — a standard file format for building models: “We have a technical draughtsman in-house who can redraw from what we’ve scanned on the survey.”
The biggest win came on a school roofing project in Indre Østfold: the entire roof was quantified directly from the 3D model in the web interface, and Tre Tommer won the job — a NOK 6 million contract.
“Now we have photos, measurements and drawings gathered in one program. It makes estimating after surveys much easier.”
