Wenn Property is a finalist for Startup of the Year 2026
Written by Wenn Property
Wenn Property has been nominated as a finalist in the “Startup of the Year” category at Impact Awards 2026. The nomination highlights proptech and contech companies creating real positive change — and for Wenn Property, it’s about helping people and technology work better together in the construction industry. The awards ceremony takes place on April 23.
The nomination was announced by Innovation Dock, and Valide has followed up with its own coverage of the finalists.
— It means a huge amount that people outside the company see the value in what we’re building. We’re not a real estate company in the classic sense. We are a technology company working for one thing: helping construction professionals spend more time on the craft and less time on paperwork, says Benedicte Økland, CEO of Wenn Property.

The customers tell the story best
For Wenn Property, “impact” is not a marketing term. It’s something customers experience on the construction site, during the inspection, and in the report sent to the end client:
“The AI tool saves us five to six hours per inspection. 3D models make us stand out.” — Geir Moen, Managing Director, GM Byggtjeneste
“The inspection app has become a tool I can’t work without.” — Steffen Olsen, Project Manager, Reco Bygg
“This will be a game-changer that raises the standard of the whole industry.” — Torstein Fjogstad, CEO, Fjogstad Hus
It’s this kind of feedback — combined with growth among municipalities and several hundred construction companies — that underpins the nomination.
What Wenn Property actually does
Wenn Property has built an inspection app that combines LiDAR 3D scanning, AI-powered report generation, and secure project sharing. In practice, that means a builder can walk into a room, scan it with their phone, dictate notes, and walk out with:
- Precise measurements (with or without LiDAR)
- Automatically transcribed and structured reports
- A 3D model that can be shared securely with clients, suppliers, or colleagues
The result is a noticeably shorter path from inspection to signed project — and an industry raised in professionalism because documentation and communication become more precise.
What is Impact Awards?
Impact Awards is a Norwegian prize that recognises companies and initiatives combining business growth with positive impact on society, the environment, or people. The “Startup of the Year” category goes to a young company that has shown both clear momentum and measurable effect early in its journey.
Finalists are selected by a jury of representatives from the investor community, academia, and the business sector, based on business model, trajectory, and real impact.
What’s next
The awards ceremony takes place on April 23, 2026. In the run-up, Wenn Property will share more about the technology, the customers, and the work behind the nomination — on the website and across social channels.
— The construction industry is full of incredibly skilled people. Our job isn’t to replace them, but to give them better tools. When a project manager says the app has become a tool they can’t work without — that’s when we know we’ve hit on something important, concludes Benedicte Økland.
